Logo

For the logo assignment, I decided to make a logo for the Naples Bird Sanctuary. If this happens to be a real place, I give them permission to use my awesome logo!  I started out by making the inside yellow circle and the outside blue circle. From there I added the flamingo and hummingbirds and used the bevel and rotate tool to create a little depth. Finally, I applied the mosaic effect to give it texture. Looking back, I could have made the stars into birds for a more complete look.

The second logo I completed was a DJ logo. Out of the three I worked on, this is my least favorite. I needed to focus on the concept of the DJ more and utilize the shapes and objects associated with this profession. The color scheme could have also been more vibrant to attract a younger audience and make the logo pop more.

My final logo was for SD Aviation. I first took the wing design and offset it a bit. I then added my initials and traced out a wrench with the pen tool. I decided to use a light color scheme to try to convey an airy, safe feel. I originally wanted to make a prop out of wrenches but I could not figure out a way to get it to flow in the logo. I enjoyed working on this logo because of my passion for aviation.
