This poster project was the most time consuming yet. My original thoughts were nothing like what my final project turned out to be. All of the work I did in class during the first week of the assignment was scrapped and I started over again on Friday. I started with the pictures of Romney and Obama. After adding 3 different effects in Photoshop, I finally came across the look I was going for. Next, I found the awesome stripes background and tweaked it some. The donkey and elephant came next and I added some extrude and bevel to give the poster depth. I found the quote by FDR and I really liked the message it sent. I wish I would have made it bigger so that it could be seen easier and made a bigger impact. I added some extrude and bevel to the words up top to add some depth as well. By the end of the project, I had bogged down Illustrator to the point where it was taking minutes to make a single change. Overall, I am pleased with this poster even though I wish I could go back and make a few minor changes.
